The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is expressive, fresh and herbaceous. There are notes of thyme, savory, peppermint, as well as a nice concentration of fresh fruits: red cherry, morello cherry, red plum, strawberry and red currant. On the palate, fruity flavors are concentrated (morello cherry, red cherry, red plum, raspberry coulis, wild strawberry) with the freshness of herbs and flowers (savory, thyme, peppermint, elderflower, violet). The tannins have a fine grain, but a firm structure, the acidity is lively and fresh, which gives this wine a potential grade of a few years. The finish is persistent, it expresses the power of tannins and the richness of fruit which softens their dryness. A concentrated wine, with a good balance.
