(60% Grenache, 40% Syrah) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose offers juiciness, fruitiness and a distinct herbal hint. It expresses notes of roasted bouquet garni, fresh rosemary, wild mint, combined with floral touches of violet and peony, as well as a gourmand fruitiness (crushed blue plum, morello cherry, strawberry, blackcurrant, blueberry). After aeration, we also sense a subtle touch of basil, toasted hazelnut and pine needles. The palate is tasty, gourmet, and offers accuracy, freshness and a lively acidulous frame. It expresses notes of fresh red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant and crushed blue plum, combined with touches of violet, lily, fresh rosemary, thyme and basil. A fine spicy, herbaceous and toasted hint returns on the finish in the flavors of toasted hazelnut, licorice, rosemary and pine needles. The tannins have a fine grain and are discreetly tight. Good bitterness of cocoa on the finish, quite persistent and beautiful acidity. A straight wine, with freshness and concentration.
