The nose is elegant, racy and offers concentration, a small very finely tight power as well as complexity. It reveals notes of cassis, small berries, small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis leaf, black plum as well as hints of crushed cherry, liquorice stick, cardamom, a very discreet hint of laurel berries, an imperceptible hint of rosemary and black tea. The palate is elegant, beautifully defined and offers juiciness, freshness, a very fine creaminess, an aerial side as well as a beautiful purity of the fruit (a bright fruit). On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, violet plum, small notes of crunchy wild raspberry associated with touches of juicy/pulpy cherry, cherry blossom, bright cassis as well as fine hints of laurel, cassis leaf, liquorice stick, cardamom and discreet hints of sweet spices. Very discreet hints of chocolate/cocoa, a subtle hint of coffee on the persistence/finish. Good length.
