Domaine du Grand Cros L’esprit de Provence AOP Côtes de Provence 2019

The wine is clear and has a medium-deep cherry color with purple highlights. The first nose is fresh and tangy with small forest fruits such as strawberries and blueberries. We also feel a hint of vanilla as well as undergrowth. With air, mint and black tea appear. There are some flowers like the rose that accompany a hint of alcohol. The attack is round on the black fruits with an acid frame. The tannins are present but smooth. The mid-palate sees them fade quickly in favor of a certain mineral freshness. The finish has a hint of bitterness and ends above all on a touch of liquorice.
