The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a fleshy, but refined fruitiness, with delicate spicy and savoury notes. It expresses the aromas of blackberry, crushed blackcurrant (even crème de cassis), wild strawberry, morello cherry, raspberry coulis, redcurrant jelly and red cherry, associated with light notes of nutmeg, cumin, as well as floral touches of rose, violet and lilac and a herbaceous hint of blackcurrant leaf and mint syrup. The palate is juicy, fruity and gourmand. It reflects the fruity aromas of the nose (blackcurrant, blackberry, morello cherry, wild plum) and tanginess of red fruits (red cherry, raspberry). We also find a touch of cranberries and a slight bitterness in the mid-palate. The tannins are structured and firm, but balanced with the chiseled profile of the wine. Beautiful fresh and salivating acidity. The finish is persistent, sapid and savoury. A structured and balanced wine.
