Domaine du Clos des Poulettes – Chardonnay 2019 – Côte de Nuits Villages

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of crushed plum, green apple, small notes of lemon flowers associated with touches of verbena/tilleul and small crunchy fruits. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a fine suavity, tension as well as dynamism, fat, roundness and a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy yellow plum, small yellow berries, small notes of honeysuckle associated with fine touches of lemon flowers, lemongrass and bee wax (in the background). Good length.
