Domaine du Clos des Poulettes Bourgogne Côte d’Or « La Corvée au Prêtre » 2023 – Bourgogne Côte d’Or

The wine has a pale ruby color with slight purple highlights. The nose is fruity and open: it expresses notes of wild strawberry, wild raspberry, redcurrant jelly and morello cherry, complemented by the scent of violet and cornflower, as well as a touch of liquorice, sap and cassis. The palate is gourmand and offers bright fruity flavors on the attack, with a pleasant sweetness (ripe wild strawberry, raspberry jam, morello cherry, redcurrant jelly), with a touch of liquorice and crushed cassis. Tannins are polished and enveloping in the mouth. Nice tangy and salivating frame of red cherry and garnet juice. The finish is persistent, very fruity (on notes of cassis and morello cherry), with a very delicate hint of menthol in the background. An easy-drinking, very gourmet wine.
