Domaine du Clos des Poulettes Bourgogne Côte-d’Or 2023 – Bourgogne Côte-d’Or

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose is delicately perfumed and expresses notes of ripe green apple, fresh crunchy pineapple and white peach, combined with aromas of lemon, lime zest, as well as apple blossom, honeysuckle, vanilla yogurt in the background, with a light touch of toasted hazelnut, fresh almond and honey. The palate is sapid, gourmand and juicy. It expresses notes of yellow peach, yellow lemon, crushed grapefruit (with a slight bitterness), green plum and green apple, associated with notes of flower honey, fresh hazelnut, fresh linden, flower of apple tree and acacia. The finish expresses a salivating acidity, a touch of lime (which also brings a slight bitterness), as well as a hint of flower honey in the background. Good balanced persistence on the palate, on the tanginess of citrus fruits and the juiciness of stone fruits.
