Hervé Bizeul had a little crazy idea in 1997 to settle in a lost village, in the middle of nowhere, in an area made of limestone, clay and mountains, Vingrau. This neglected corner of the Valley of Agly is known for the richness of its terroir and its old winding vineyards. This wine from the oldest vines in the vineyard (50 to 100 years old) is composed of 50% Grenache and LLadoner Pelut, 35% Carignan, 15% Syrah. Intense ink color and a surprising intensity of candied fruits, with notes of tobacco and vanilla, this wine is of a generous and unctuous concentration.
