The nose is elegant and offers complexity, power as well as intensity (full of control). This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis cream, blackberry, small notes of rose associated with touches of violet, fleshy plum as well as fine hints of mild tobacco, crushed strawberry, racy minerality and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a beautiful definition, freshness as a beautiful finesse of the tension, a beautiful unctuous touch, dynamism and a small grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright plum, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of fresh/juicy cherry, small red berries as well as hints of fresh violet, a racy minerality, a subtle hint of liquorice stick and black tea. Tannins are elegant and beautifully built.
