Domaine du Château de Meursault – Les Charmes Dessus 2018 – Meursault Premier Cru

The nose is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful delicacy, definition, a fine richness (in elegance), a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of juicy/fleshy yellow apple, juicy/acidulous Mirabelle, small notes of juicy green apple associated with small touches of juicy citrus, mandarine flowers, dry zests as well as a subtle hint of quenette, peach flowers and an imperceptible hint of brioche (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, finesse of the matter, gourmandize, a beautiful finesse of the grain, harmony as well as a beautiful finesse of the fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, fleshy/juicy yellow apple, verbena leaf, zests (in the background), juicy/fresh green apple, small notes of apple flowers associated with small touches of citrus, brioche and a discreet hint of bee wax/crushed Mirabelle. Good length.
