It reveals notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, wild raspberry, small notes of violet/lily associated with touches of small bright red berries, rose, black cherry as well as hints of liquorice, grey pepper, a discreet hint of sweet spices and chocolate. The palate is elegant, fruity, beautifully built, racy and offers gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, tension as well as a beautiful suavity, straightness, a fine freshness and a fine silky side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of bright violet plum associated with touches of small crushed red berries, rose, cornflower as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, chocolate, an imperceptible hint of almond and brioche (in the background). Tannins are elegant and structuring. A structured, racy and full of control wine.
