Nice floral, racy nose that offers a certain power. It reveals notes of raspberry, rose, and more slightly – notes of juicy blackcurrant associated with touches of small red fruits, cornflower, camphor as well as a hint of tobacco and black pepper. The palate offers good definition, juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, and silkiness as well as a nice work on the good bitterness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackberry, small juicy/tangy red fruit and more slightly – notes of rose associated with touches of fresh cornflower, tangy plum as well as slight hints of tonka bean, toasted almond, graphite and a hint of toast/torrefaction. Good length. Nice sapidity and gormandise on the finish.
