Domaine du Château de Meursault 2018 – Meursault-Perrières, Premier Cru

The nose is fresh, well-built and offers juiciness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of crushed yellow fruits, quince, small notes of juicy/fleshy William pear associated with fine touches of zests as well as discreet hints of racy minerality, bee wax, toasted almond and subtle hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, juiciness, a fine suavity as well as a beautiful definition, gourmandize, elegance, precision as well as a very fine almost aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy small yellow fruits, juicy Mirabelle, small notes of yellow apple associated with small touches of yellow/juicy pear as well as fine hints of racy minerality/fresh gravels, flowers as well as a subtle hint of exotic fruits and butter brioche. Good length. Very discreet hints of brioche and toasted almond on the persistence.
