The nose is elegant, fruity and offers power, depthness and intensity. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of red berries, cassis and gray pepper associated with small notes of cherry, fleshy wild raspberry, subtle touches of spices, nutmeg as well as an imperceptible touch of flowers and chocolate (background). The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande, elegant, racy and offers juiciness, fleshiness, a beautiful fat, a beautiful density, a mineral frame, a beauitul precision, a small straightness, a beautiful matter as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed redcurrant, crushed cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of fleshy plum, discreet hints of flowers as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean, wood, vanilla, zan and an imperceptible hint of ripe hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant, straight and slightly firm. Good length.
