The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a slight complexity. It reveals notes of Bourbon vanilla, ripe plum, ripe strawberry and slight notes of cherry associated with touches of boysenberry, a touch of flowers, raspberry as well as discreet hints of Zan, chocolate and a hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, fat, suave, straight and offers a nice definition, a good structure, a nice fat as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and slight notes of ripe red berries associated with slight touches of Zan, tobacco, as well as subtle hints of vanilla/wood and a discreet touch of caramelization. Good length. Beautiful and gourmand epersistence. There are a slight touch of dark chocolate, caramelization and Bourbon vanilla on the persistence. The wine needs to be decanted. (2020+)
