Domaine du Chardonnay – Mont Milieu 2015 – Chablis Premier Cru

The nose is fresh and racy. It reveals notes of fresh lemon, fresh apple and slight hints of yellow peach associated with a discreet hint of quince as well as a very discreet hint of butter (in the background). The palate is fruity, fat, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine tension, a slight mineral frame, a very slight unctuosity as well as a slight acidity (in the background). In the mouth this wine exrpesses notes of ripe peach, ripe apple/pear and small notes of ripe citrus associated with a subtle hint of quince as well as very discreet toasted touches, vanilla and a subtle hint of almost salin minerality on the finish.
