The nose is fruity, racy and reveals a nice graininess and a fine minerality. There are notes of mirabelle plum, kumquat and, more slightly, gunflint combined with delicate touches of fresh yellow fruit, white flowers (honeysuckle, acacia, etc.) as well as discreet hints of nutmeg/spice and a subtle touch of chestnut. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, good definition, a certain gourmandize, acidity, precision and fine tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, tangerine and, to a lesser extent, medlar, combined with hints of acacia, honeysuckle, as well as fine hints of yellow berries, fresh oak and a discreet hint of fresh almond. A subtle almost tannic quality on the finish/persistence and a lot of finesse. Good length.
