Domaine du Cerf 2023 – Côtes de Gascogne IGP

(Colombard & Sauvignon) The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose offers gourmandise, fruit and a sweetness of English candy. It expresses notes of lemon zest, lemon juice, candied lemon peel, white peach, apricot and apple blossom, acacia (in the background), as well as a touch of cut grass in the background. The palate offers gourmandise, a slight sweetness of stone fruits (apricot, white peach), the acidity of citrus (yellow lemon, grapefruit in the background, orange peel) and green apple, as well as a touch of smoke at the end of the palate. The finish is moderately persistent and expresses an incisive acidity, as well as a slight bitterness. An aromatic and refreshing wine, with a certain concentration.
