Domaine du Bouscat – Les Portes de l’Am… 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Lovely complex, harmonious, elegant, noble nose which offers harmonious power, depth as well as a lovely multi-layered side. We find notes of bright purple plum, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of pulpy strawberry associated with touches of small roasted red fruits, violet, hints of lily as well as fine hints of sweet spices, toasted-fresh, with a discreet hint of camphor and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality / a mineral framework, juiciness, good definition, smoothness in freshness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, small pulpy/fresh red fruits and small notes of violet associated with touches of small roasted blue fruits as well as hints of toasted, nutmeg as well as a subtle hint almost orange and with a fine hint of vanilla. The tannins are supple, fresh and delicious. Nice tangy finish/persistence. Tips of crushed almond/crushed hazelnut in the background.
