The nose is fruity, delicious, intense and offers elegance as well as a certain power and finesse of the grain. We find notes of bright wild blackcurrant, small bright black fruits and slight notes of violet associated with touches of small roasted fruits (in the noble sense) as well as fine hints of graphite, fresh pepper and a very discreet hint of roasting-freshness. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain accuracy as well as a fresh structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – of raspberry associated with touches of crunchy cherry, hints of cornflower, blueberry as well as a subtle hint of liquorice, sense of place (local biotop), chocolate and an imperceptible hint of Ceylon tea. Lovely freshness and energy.
