The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals a certain concentration, purity and a nice fleshiness of the fruit. There are notes of crushed raspberry, bright strawberry and, more slightly, fresh/pulpy blackcurrant, combined with a fine touch of fresh flowers, racy minerality and a discreet hint of fresh pepper and star anise. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, racy, balanced and offers a nice definition, gourmandize, some roundness in its matter, a melodious side, a nice freshness and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and, more lightly, of fresh strawberry/sparkle, combined with fine notes of pulpy/fresh plum, fresh flowers, a discreet hint of star anise, chocolate and a subtle touch of caramelisation. Good length. The tannins are sapid and mellow. A nice gourmandize on the finish/persistence.
