The nose is nicely fruity, currently discreetly tight and offers pulpiness, deepness, purity as well as harmony. There are notes of black cherry, violet and crushed strawberry combined with touches of pulpy redcurrant as well as hints of cornflower, star anise and a subtle almost orange hint. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, minerality, precision, tension, a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of juicy/bright small fruits, cornflowers as well as hints of toasted, chocolate and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. Tannins are supple, polished and saline. Good length. Presence of a discreet hint of iodine and a subtle hint of good bitterness in the background.
