The nose is aromatic, intense and offers a small captivating side as well as a certain deepness. It reveals notes of cassis, fleshy wild plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of sour cherry, crushed small red fruits as well as hints of zan, sweet spices, cloves and very discreet hints of vanilla bean. The palate is fruity, well framed and offers freshness, juiciness, a certain gourmandize, a small tension, a fine straightness as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of sour cherry, pulpy / juicy plum and small notes of juicy / acidulous raspberry associated with touches of violet, iris, small red berries as well as hints of racy minerality, liquorice, toasted, cocoa, discreet hints of dry local grove and a subtle hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
