The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers concentration as well as deepness. It reveals notes of cherry, Boysenberry and small notes of bright small blue fruits associated with touches of cassis, cassis leaf, iris, rose as well as fine mineral hints, fresh liquorice stick and a very discreet hint of cloves. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers gourmandize, richness, a mineral frame, volume, roundness, generosity, a certain fat as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy / juicy wild blackberry, juicy / pulpy / fresh cassis and small notes of red berries associated with touches of violet, cassis leaf, racy minerality as well as hints of laurel berries, green cardamom, tonka bean and a subtle hint of toasted / roasted oak. Good length. Persistence on hints of cocoa.
