Domaine Digioia-Royer – Dessus les Vermots 2015 – Savigny-Les-Beaune

The nose is fruity, gourmand, racy, elegant and offers a fine concentration / richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and black plum associated with slight notes of cocoa, cherry, caramelized wood as well as discreet touches of spices and an imperceptible touch of cardamom (in the background). The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, aerial, elegant, suave, silky and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight acidity, fat as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, juicy blackberry and slight notes of raspberry associated with slight touches of redcurrant, flowers, discreet touches of spices, mocha, as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization, cardamom and sweet spices (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
