The nose is racy and offers freshness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of small wild black berries, flowers (cornflower, lilac…) and small notes of cherry associated with touches of raspberry, racy minerality as well as hints of varietals, zan and a very discreet hint of fresh mild tobacco (in the background). The palate is beautifully fresh, fruity and offers suavity, a mineral frame (racy minerality), roundness, a good finesse of the grain, a good definition, gourmandize, a crunchy/juicy raspberry and small notes of crunchy violet plum associated with small touches of crunchy cassis, hints of violet, zan, very fine hints of chocolate (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom and graphite. Tannins are well-built. Good length. This wine should be decanted.
