Domaine des Sabines 2018 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fruity, racy and offers freshness as well as a fine richness/intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of wild red berries, liquorice as well as fine hints of flowers and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, freshness as well as a mineral/finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with very fine hnts of flowers as well as small touches of liquorice, chocolate and toasted. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A gourmand wine, on fruit.
