On the palate this wine expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, creamy raspberry, small notes of small wild berries associated with touches of mild tobacco, liquorice, crushed Boysen berry as well as hints of chocolate, vanilla, a subtle hint of hazelnut, caramelization (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco (in the background). Good length. Tannins are structuring. Good persistence. A fine power as well as gourmandize and a fine sapidity on the finish/persistence.
