The nose is slightly tight /on the hold and offers power, a good definition as well as a small freshness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild cassis, small notes of small berries associated with small touches of small red fruits, cuben pepper, bigarreau cherry as well as fine hints of dry local copse, nutmeg, a very discreet hint of spices and fresh mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a small acidulous frame, a fine tension as well as a very fine creaminess, a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidulous cassis, crushed wild blackberry, small notes of pulpy/juicy wild strawberry associated with touches of lilac, blueberry as well as hints of bigarreau cherry, violet, liquorice stick, very fine hints of chocolate and toasted. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A subtile hint of mocha and dry almond on the persistence.
