The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers crunchiness, a small intensity as well as a small deepness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, small blue berries and violet associated with touches of crunchy plum, toasted as well as slight hints of grilled bread, toasted hazelnut, nutmeg and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful precision, suavity, gourmandize as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of cherry, juicy violet plum as well as hints of violet, lily, lilac and very fine hints of nutmeg, mild tobacco and chocolate. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A subtle hint of ripe almond/toasted hazelnut on the finish/persistence.
