Domaine des Perdrix 2017 – Echezeaux Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and offers a small power, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a small richness (full of delicacy). It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, crunchy plum and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of violet, nutmeg, toasted as well as touches of toasted almond and pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a fine acidulous frame, a good definition, precision, a fine richness as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, fleshy/juicy strawberry and small notes of plum, blackberry associated with a touch of cornflower, lilac, violet as well as hints of cardamom, mocha, toasted and a subtle hint of tea/sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and very discreetly firm. A very discreet chew on the finish/persistence. A hint of mocha on the persistence.
