The nose is powerful and aromatic. It reveals notes of plum and cassis associated with slight hints of fleshy blueberry, licorice as well as a hint of caramelized oak and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, well-built/well-defined, a bit aerial and offers tension, fat, a slight gourmandise as well as a slight deepness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy fleshy cassis, ripe/fresh plum and slight notes of blackberry associated with hints of licorice, a subtle hint of cassis bud/flowers as well as discreet hints of licorice. Good length.
