The nose is fruity, powerful, fine and slightly incisive/tight. It reveals notes of dried yellow peach, green lemon dried zests and slight touches of dried mandarin associated with hints of white fruits in syrup, caramel as well as a subtle hint of cedar wood, tobacco, Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of violet. The palate is fruity, fat, round, well-balanced, suave and offers a slight tension, finesse, a slight aerial side, a beautiful harmony as well as a fine gourmandise. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of dried citrus zests, candied mandarin and slight notes of caramel associated with touches of white fruits in syrup, a subtle hint of flowers, cedar wood, chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of tobacco and Bourbon vanilla. Good length and persistence.
