The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose expresses juicy, ripe and slightly tart fruits: red cherry, raspberry, crunchy strawberry, red currant, elderberry and blackcurrant, combined with notes of blackcurrant leaf, wild mint, violet, fresh peony, as well as a touch of rose and fresh tobacco in the background. On the palate, the wine is tangy and chiselled, but fruity and juicy. It expresses notes of strawberry, fresh raspberry, red cherry, redcurrant, a touch of blackcurrant, as well as floral notes of violet, rose and dried peony. The finish is savoury, quite persistent, and also offers delicate spicy notes(white pepper, nutmeg). The tannins are fine, silky, complemented by a nice acidity. A gourmand and well-structured wine.
