The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is perfumed, precise and offers a certain density and complexity. It expresses notes of fresh bigarreau cherry, dried bigarreau cherry, crushed blackcurrant, dried raspberry and crunchy strawberry, complemented by a touch of cranberry jam. There are also quite expressive but delicate spicy and toasted notes (nutmeg, cumin, a light touch of liquorice, which tends towards cardamom, as well as toasted hazelnut and a hint of dark chocolate), as well as a nuance of menthol and violet in the background. The palate is greedy, juicy and enveloping, but with a lot of freshness. It expresses notes of crushed morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry and a hint of blackcurrant and cranberries, combined with herbaceous and floral notes (blackcurrant bud, violet), sweet spices (nutmeg, a hint of liquorice) and a touch of toasted hazelnut and chocolate. The tannins are silky and powdery. Freshness and a salivating acidity. Good persistence on a pleasant bitterness of bird cherry.
