The nose is a bit powerful and offer a fine richness. It reveals notes of vanilla and caramelized/toasted oak associated with small notes of blackberry, flowers, wild strawberry as well as slight touches of garrigue and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, well-built and offers a fine suavity, roundness, an aerial side, a small freshness as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red cherry, wild strawberry and small notes of berries associated with touches of olive, garrigue as well as discreet hints of flowers and a very discreet hint of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and (very) slightly firm. There are slight hints of vanilla and toasted hazelnut on the persistence (brings gourmandise). There is an imperceptible touch of tonka bean on the aftertaste.
