Domaine des 3 Cellier – Marceau 2018 – Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, a beautiful well-defined/pure fruit, deepness as well as a fine fleshy sensation. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy Boysen berry, crushed blueberry, small notes of creamy small plum associated with fine touches of ripe wild raspberry, sense of the place, nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of camphor and an imperceptible hint of cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers juiciness, a small minerality, a good definition as well as minerality, gourmandize, a fine richness, a small juicy/mineral frame and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, juicy/fresh blueberry, small notes of small fleshy/juicy blue plum associated with small touches of fleshy/fresh raspberry, fresh cherry as well as subtle hints of nutmeg, camphor, toasted/caramelized hazelnut, a very discreet hint of vanilla and grey pepper (in the background). Good length.
