Domaine d’Eperance – Folle Blanche 2002 – Bas-Armagnac

Domaine d’Eperance – Folle Blanche 2002 – Bas-Armagnac

(50%) The nose is enveloping, powerful and offers a certain deepness as well as an intense grain. There are notes of crushed mirabelle plum, quince paste and small notes of dried citrus zest associated with touches of orangette as well as hints of pepper and a very discreet almost undergrowth hint in the background. The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers suavity, a small fat, a small mellowness, gourmandise, a certain power as well as a discreetly tight and stretched matter. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of quince, marmalade and small notes of crushed mirabelle plum associated with touches of small dried white fruits as well as hints of pâtisseries, quince paste, caramelization, a hint of tobacco and gray pepper. Good length.
