The nose is very tight and offers intensity, deepness as well as power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild berries, blueberry, small notes of violet, pink laurel associated with touches of crushed strawberry, grey pepper/black pepper, mild tobacco leaf and an imperceptible hint of cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful suavity, a good definition as well as a bright fruit, deepness, a small intensity and a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy red cherry, crushed redcurrant, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of violet, lily/pink laurel, crushed strawberry as well as hints of fresh mild tobacco, fresh nutmeg, very discreet hints of fresh liquorice stick and a varietal hint, chocolate, pepper. Good length. Fine hints of toasted and toasted hazelnut on the persistence. Tannins are very discreetly tight.
