Domaine de Roquemale – Lema 2020 – Languedoc, Grés de Montpellier

The nose is fresh, racy and offers a certain deepness. There are notes of fresh wild blackberry, quite ripe small red fruits and small notes of fresh pepper associated with touches of morello cherry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of tabaco and a very discreet almost warm local vegetation hint. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, minerality, a ceratin tension, precision, a small concentration/ small pulpiness of the fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, pulpy red berries and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of violet, cardamom, roatsed small red fruits as well as a subtle almost sage/ srubland hint (in the background). Supple, elegant and sapid tannins. Beautiful work of the good bitterness in the background, as well as chocolate hints.
