The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of wild red berries, wild strawberry, small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of violet, iris as well as fine hints of racy minerality and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, a small minerality as well as dynamism and a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy wild redcurrant, juicy wild strawberry, small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with small touches of racy minerality, sweet spices as well as fine hints of nutmeg, pepper, discreet hints of toasted and a subtle hint of cocoa. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A persistence on notes of cocoa.
