The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The aromas are delicate at first, but the nose expresses itself more after aeration. We find a subtle and refined spiciness (licorice, clove, cumin, white pepper), aminty freshness (wild mint, a hint of rosemary), floral notes (violet, fresh rose, iris, lily), as well as a refined and fresh fruitiness (red cherry, strawberry, morello cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, wild plum). On the palate, the wine is airy and offers a fresh and tangy fruitiness. We find notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, fresh red currant, red cherry, a touch of blackcurrant and morello cherry, combined with notes of blackcurrant leaf, wild mint, violet, iris and lily, as well as a fine spiciness (licorice, cloves, nutmeg, a hint of cinnamon). The tannins are firm, gripping but fine, balanced by a beautiful acidity. A complex, straight wine, with good aging potential, but closed for the moment.
