Domaine de Montorge Montagny Premier Cru, Monopole Montorge 2022 – Montagny Premier Cru

The wine has a lemon yellow color of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant, floral, honeyed and spicy. It expresses notes of linden honey, nutmeg, vanilla in the background, dried linden, chamomile and acacia, combined with a hint of toasted hazelnut, toasted oak in the background, fresh hazelnut, as well as with a pleasant lactic touch of raw butter and yogurt. We also find gourmet notes of juicy stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot), crunchy pineapple and citrus fruits (candied lemon, fresh lemon, lime zest). The palate is balanced, with woody and spicy notes on the attack (heated oak, toasted hazelnut, toasted almond, vanilla, nutmeg), honey and white flowers (acacia, linden). We also find fresh and gourmand fruitiness – the flavors of yellow peach, apricot, fresh pineapple, candied lime, candied lemon, fresh lemon. Beautiful acidity, a long, precise and chiselled finish, with sapidity, freshness and tension.
