Domaine de Maouhum – Floc de Gascogne

(Red) The nose is fruity, precise and offers a fine power, freshness and a fine straightness. It reveals notes of cherry, crushed strawberry and small notes of ripe/fresh raspberry associated with fine hints of cherry flowers/white flowers associated with a very discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of mirabelle plum. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers fatness, sugar/richness, a very fine straightness, tension as well as a fine acidulous frame/freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe red cherry, ripe strawberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with very fine hints of crushed plum, flowers, cherry and liquorice. Good length and persistence.
