The nose is well-built, nicely mineral and offers tension, a small spicy side as well as a frank, precise and tense grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, black pepper and small notes of wild raspberry associated with a touch of clove as well as fine hints of liquorice and toast. The palate is nicely juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension, precision, suppleness, an airy side as well as a fine and delicate grain (despite its power). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright red berries and small notes of clove associated with touches of lily, nutmeg, hints of tobacco as well as an almost thyme and chocolate hint. Good length. An infusion side in the background / finish.
