The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is concentrated, complex and deep, with juicy and ripe fruit. It expresses notes of juicy black plum, prunes, chocolate morello cherry, wild strawberry, prune cream and blackberry, combined with hints of crème de cassis and blackberry liqueur in the background. There is also an integrated spiciness: aromas of clove, nutmeg and licorice, combined with notes of roasted herbs (roasted thyme and rosemary, dried bay leaf), a touch of roasting (toasted hazelnut, toasted bitter almond, dark chocolate) and flowers (a hint of violet and peony). The palate offers a concentrated and filling material, but juicy and fresh at the same time. The attack is expressive and fruity: it expresses notes of fresh black plum, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant and blackberry, as well as juicy raspberry and wild strawberry. In the mid-palate, we find spicy (nutmeg, liquorice, cumin) and herbaceous (roasted thyme, rosemary, a hint of dried mint) notes. The finish offers expressive and gourmet roasted notes (coffee, toasted almond, toasted hazelnut, chocolate). The tannins are velvety, tight and with a certain power, but at the same time elegant. Beautiful acidity that balances a concentrated profile of the wine.Gourmandise, complexity and freshness.
