Domaine de L’R, Les Folies du Noyer Vert 2021 – Chinon

The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose expresses notes of tangy red and black fruits: bigarreau cherry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, a touch of blackcurrant, combined with floral and herbaceous aromas of dried rose, lilac, violet and cut thyme. On the palate, the wine is chiseled, tangy, with a firm, slightly dry tannin structure. We find flavors of tart red cherry, red currant, cranberries, crushed raspberry and blackcurrant (in the background), combined with a hint of violet and cut grass. The finish expresses crunchy acidity, a touch of crushed red cherry and a slight bitterness.
