The wine has a brilliant ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is reserved and requires ventilation. It then expresses notes of strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, red currant, a touch of blueberry and blackcurrant, associated with notes of fresh tobacco, infused tea leaf, dried wild flowers, as well as a hint of undergrowth and licorice. The palate offers juiciness, precision and a certain roundness on the attack, which develops in the mid-palate, frank and tangy, and a rather persistent finish, on tangy fruits and a fine bitterness. We find notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, tangy red cherry, blackcurrant, a tannic touch of wild plum, as well as notes of fresh tobacco, fresh tea leaf, a touch of undergrowth and dried wild flowers. The acidity is salivating and lively.
