The wine has a ruby ​​color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved and discreet. It expresses notes of red fruits (red cherry, strawberry, red currant, red plum), a smoky and toasted hint, as well as touches of dried mint, rosemary, tobacco and violet in the background, as well as a slight hint of liquorice. The palate is tight, tangy, slightly bitter. It expresses more notes of black fruits (bird cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant), associated with tangy red fruits (bigarreau cherry, raspberry), a herbaceous hint (blackcurrant leaf, rosemary), a toasted hint, a touch of liquorice, the bitterness of cocoa and a peppery touch. The tannins are tight and slightly grippy. The acidity is lively and salivating. The finish is on bitterness.
